Cotswold Girl Essentials
Investment pieces that belong in every Cotswold girl’s wardrobe
I’m lucky enough to have grown up in the Cotswolds, in the gateway town of Burford, a place rich in heritage and historic charm. Known for its honey-stone cottages, antique shops and hilltop views, it’s one of the most idyllic corners of the UK.
While the region is often associated with traditional countryside style, think Barbour, Hunter, Schoffel, and once-upon-a-time Jack Wills (which made up most of my teenage wardrobe), there’s a more refined, quietly curated side to how Cotswold girls dress.
It’s less about countryside clichés and more about a soft blend of polo chic, preppy boho, and eclectic designer pieces from independent brands. The Cotswolds is a haven of rural elegance and thoughtful design, where outfits are as considered as the landscapes they wander through.
